I started on a shake day and to be honest my first thoughts of the shake was 'Where is the Sugar?'... The day actually seemed quite easy though and getting supportive messages from Mel throughout the day was encouraging.
She clicked on pretty quick to the fact that me saying 'I'm hungry' didn't actually mean I wanted or needed food! So her tests would come back quick with 'you're fine...drink water!'
After many conversations in the first week about what to do and how I was feeling my journey was officially off! I felt pretty good this week with the exceptions of making two possible mistakes! I gave up two things cold turkey and I think I should have possibly given one up at a time! Coffee and Sugar were a normal part of my diet and as a teacher two of the fundamental parts of my day! If I had to go back and start again or recommend anything to newbies starting on Isagenix, it would be wean yourself off things that your body is used to and addicted to slowly!
Once the headaches had passed (about three days) I was sweet as and already feeling like I has lots more energy!
