So far my challenges have been:
- Giving up coffee and all caffeine! I am a teacher...this pretty much is a requirement!
- Giving up most sugar and getting used to the tast of things that havent been laden with extra calories.
- Continual morning teas at work - seriously 4 in one week and my work do the biggest and most ridiculously yummy M/Ts ever!
- December being the time to socialise and end of year Christmas parties, drinks and celebrations.
- Giving up all alcohol - didn't drink heaps before but again would be more at this time of year if it weren't for this challenge.
- Missing carbs - three favourite foods...potatoes, bread, McDonalds cheeseburgers - ALL GONE!
- Dating... this has been a bit of a mission as most dates revolve around food and/or drink. Not that dating is ever very successful, giving it up is a huge fall back in socialising ad I was (wait for it...) going on 3-4 per week for a wee while there!
So far my positives outweigh the challenges though!
- I love the shakes and after a cleanse day I am actually craving a chocolate Isalean shake!
- I have accomplished my first cleanse day and even did a double! (without Isadelights even!
- I have lost 5kgs so far.
- I am feeling full of energy and wake up every morning and literally bounce out of bed!
- I no longer have black circles under my eyes.
- I ave realised that the way I was living is not how a 30 year old should feel at all and I have a new appreciation of what 'feeling good' is!
- I am for the first time in my life excited by a nutritional plan! and believe that I will succeed!
- People at work are seeming interested in what I am doing and I know that if I can transform myself then they will be asking to sign up...just a matter of time!
- According to my Fitbit, I am sleeping for an average of 8 hours and have started staying up until 10pm (hold the phone... I am functioning as a human again).
- I am motivated to exercise almost daily. So far I have been doing the crosstrainer 4-5times per week and going for a walk once a week to Ambury Farm and back (1.5hours)...this will continue to increase as time goes on!
